PLOT

Voor het eerst zal een tropisch bos geboren worden voor onze ogen. Deze film synthetiseert een enorme hoeveelheid kennis die is opgedaan door de eeuwen heen. Jarenlang filmde Luc Jacquet de natuur en de dierenwereld om de kijkers te prikkelen en te verbazen door middel van unieke en spannende verhalen. Zijn ontmoeting met de botanicus Francis Hallé gaf geboorte aan het filmerfgoed van primaire tropische wouden, die belangrijk zijn voor het milieu. Deze echte groene longen staan garantie voor het leven op aarde.
