E' il 1918 e la guerra civile imperversa in tutta la Russia, ma deve ancora raggiungere il remoto ospedale di

Mureyvo. Il Giovane Dottore e l'ostetrica, Pelageya, hanno una relazione, basata soprattuto sul fatto che lei può

facilitare e nascondere la dipendenza dalla morfina del dottore.
Nel 1935 a Mosca, un ottimista, ripulito Più Vecchio Dottore viene dimesso dall'istituto in cui è stato mandato

alla fine della prima serie. Attraverso il suo diario torna alle sue memorie del 1918 e, contrariamente alla prima

serie, ora ama la vita e non è più indisposto nei confronti del suo più giovane alter-ego.

A Young Doctor's Notebook is a British dark comedy television series adapted from the works of Mikhail Bulgakov. Set

in Russia in the early 20th century, the show tells the story of a young doctor practicing in a small village

hospital. It stars Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe.
