Definitive vinyl box set containing all 6 studio albums across 11 pieces of 180 gm heavyweight vinyl (Suede, Dog Man Star, Coming Up, Head Music, A New Morning, Bloodsports), plus ‘Sci-Fi Lullabies’ (b-sides compilation). This will be the first time that A New Morning and Sci-Fi Lullabies have been produced on vinyl. All LPs remastered except Bloodsports using the existing master.
Suede kick started the Brit-pop revolution of the ’90s, bringing English indie pop/rock music away from the swirling layers of shoegazing and dance-pop fusions of Madchester, and reinstating such conventions of British pop as mystique and the three-minute single. Before the band had even released a single, the U.K. weekly music press was proclaiming them as the “Best New Band in Britain,” but Suede managed to survive their heavy hype due to the songwriting team of vocalist Brett Anderson and guitarist Bernard Butler.
