Flexible, Stealthy, Lethal: The Only English Repertoire You'll Need
With The Classical English, you will make your opponent think you're playing passively and are afraid of the center. In reality, this hypermodern approach will have you control the center from afar, giving you flexibility on where to put your central pawns.
Your stealthy patience will pay off - while Black thinks they're taking the center, you set dangerous traps for them. The trickiness of the Classical English will make Black think they're navigating a minefield.
This repertoire is also based on innovative and harmonious setups. Ones that are intuitive for White to play but difficult for Black to respond to.
A preview of what you will learn:
♞ In the mainline (1…e5 - Reversed Sicilian) leave a pawn, break open the center, and hit all of Black's weak points- set yourself up for a beautiful combination that will net Black's queen
♞ A subtle flank pawn move that prepares a big attack in the Symmetrical English - After 1.c4 c5 2.g3 g6 3.Bg2 Bg7 4.Nc3 Nc6, 5.a3 looks innocuous, but it prepares a big b2-b4 pawn push
♞ Get excellent dark-square play in the Symmetrical Fischer System (1.c4 c5 2.g3 g6 3.Bg2 Bg7 4.Nc3 Nc6 5.a3 e6) - plus a clever knight on the rim will soon find a comfortable home
♞ A sneaky discovered attack on Black's knight in the Classical King's Indian Defense - easily punish Black's overzealous kingside expansion by taking their f-pawn leaving their knight unprotected upon recapture
♞Force Black to react early with an early (and sensible!) queen move in the Slav Formations - creating an immediate threat of taking in the center that Black must respond to
