Plot Summary

A former Prohibition-era Jewish gangster returns to the Lower East Side of Manhattan 35 years later, where he must once again confront the ghosts and regrets of his old life.

Encoded with a modified slow 2-Pass @ 22.5 MB/s. Audio tracks include the lossless 5.1 DTS-HD MA English track and a lossy version of that track. Includes subtitles in English and other languages. This is the extended cut of the film which is about 22 minutes longer than the European theatrical cut (that theatrical cut being the correctly edited version by Sergio Leone instead of the studio assembled disaster that was originally released in US theaters). As much of the additional footage Leone used for his original unreleased six hour cut was lost, the extra scenes in this version come mostly from work prints of significantly lower quality than the rest of the film (you can see an example of this in screenshot 6). As such you will notice a decline in picture quality at a few points during this movie, that's consistent with the source but most of the movie looks very good. This is a hybrid profile 8.1 Dolby Vision and HDR release, if you don't have a Dolby Vision display this will play in HDR. Screenshots have been tone mapped and do not represent the full quality of the picture when played in Dolby Vision or HDR.
