Plot

Arma letale è il soprannome di Martin Riggs, un poliziotto che, reduce dal Vietnam e
vedovo recente di una moglie adoratissima, ha ormai trasferito nella pistola il suo amore
esclusivo, tanto è affascinato dalla morte e tanto spesso si trova alle soglie del
suicidio e della follia. I suoi superiori lo mettono in addestramento sotto la guida del
sergente Roger Murtaugh, un nero anziano, con moglie, figli ed un innato senso dell'ordine
e della moderazione.
