Tera Patrick (born July 25, 1976 in Great Falls, Montana) is an American porn actress. Her real name is Linda Hopkins Shapiro, but she performs under the stage names Tera Patrick, Brooke Thomas, and Tara Patrick (this is a reference to the actress's real name Carmen Electra).

Her talent was discovered in San Francisco, California at the age of 13, and she soon moved to New York City where she became a model. At the age of 18, Tera Patrick left her modeling job and began studying at the University of Idaho, where she received a degree.

In the late nineties, Tera Patrick returned to the modeling business, this time in erotic films. In 1999, she starred in Andrew Blake's film. Since then, she has been one of the most popular and recognized porn stars in the world. Her photos have appeared in Playboy and Penthouse. She has appeared in 70 adult films.

In December 2002, she terminated her contract with Digital Playground and filed a lawsuit, accusing the company of not paying her for her appearances in films. Digital Playground filed a countersuit, stating that the company has exclusive rights to the Tera Patrick name, and she is bound by a contract with Digital Playground until January 15, 2007.

On December 16, 2003, Patrick signed a two-year contract with Vivid Video, which required her to appear in at least three Vivid Video productions.

On January 9, 2004, Patrick married Evan Seinfeld, bassist for Biohazard. They both appeared in two films for Vivid Video. The couple later divorced.
