Voce inconfondibilmente sincera è quella di Malcolm Holcombe (Asheville, 2 settembre 1955), cantautore semisconosciuto in Italia se non per poche apparizioni nel circuito underground. Questo è un album di splendide ballate, tra le quali spicca "In Your Mercy" in cui Emmylou Harris affianca Malcolm nel canto, in un duetto di rara potenza.
