Host Dean Ipaviz leads a team of highly-skilled craftspeople who, from their special workshop, try to rescue the cherished possessions of Australians. Each week families bring along their damaged historical treasures in the hope they can be repaired. As each item is painstakingly restored, we hear the personal stories behind the heirloom and why it's so cherished by the family.

Jeweller Erin has her work cut out restoring a prized diamond eternity ring; a World War II Gurkha knife tests craftsman Aaron's leather skills; repair all-rounder Paul rebuilds a late-19th-century 3D slide viewer.
