Valentino (39) is een succesvolle Italiaanse Maserati-verkoper en heeft een relatie met Monique, de dochter van zijn baas. Hij staat op het punt promotie te maken en met zijn grote liefde te trouwen. Maar Valentino heeft één probleem; hij is namelijk geen Italiaan! Als zijn vader een hartaanval krijgt, doet hij een emotioneel beroep op zijn zoon. Valentino stemt in, maar al snel dreigt zijn promotie tot directeur hierdoor volledig in het water te vallen. En erger nog; door alle smoezen begint Monique te twijfelen aan zijn liefde. Om de vrouw van zijn dromen te behouden, zal Valentino zijn Italiaanse masker af moeten zetten.



Storyline

Valentino (39) is a successful Italian Maserati salesman and engaged to Monique, the daughter of his boss. He is about to be promoted and marry his great love. But Valentino has only one problem; he's not an Italian! When his father suffers a heart attack, he makes an emotional appeal to his son. Valentino agrees, but because of this promise his promotion to sales director threatens to fail. And to make matters worse; due to all his lies and excuses Monique starts to doubt his sincerity. To keep the love of his life, Valentino has to drop his Italian mask.
