This course teaches you how to build web services with two Java APIs: JAX-WS, for SOAP-based services, and JAX-RS, for RESTful services. Follow along with instructor Kesha Williams, as she builds web services to create, update, delete, and query data from the sample project: a bug tracking database that logs tickets for users of many different applications. Along the way, she explains how to implement top-level searching, handle errors, and test your web services for defects. You can also learn how to leverage the latest features in Java EE 7, such as the JAX-RS Client API for accessing REST resources.
