Korg has released a plug-in for wavestate synthesizers. The Wavestate Native plugin is designed to be a fully compatible software counterpart of its hardware counterpart. This means you can now use this digital synthesizer in your DAW and then transfer the sounds to your gear for real-world performance.
It's no secret that Korg's line of digital synthesizers run on a single hardware platform built around the Raspberry Pi. So it makes sense that the company is now porting the firmware to the PC and Mac platforms with new native plugins.
To work, activation of Wavestate Native with a key is required, the software is fully compatible with a hardware synthesizer. It offers the same Wave Sequencing 2.0 sound engine with a maximum polyphony of 64 stereo voices. You can control timing, waveform and pitch on individual tracks, creating complex and evolving soundscapes in the process.
