Action
The story revolves around a young Indian Army captain (Vijay) who comes home to Mumbai for his vacations and stumbles upon a network of sleeper cells. How he deduces their identities and plans and how he and his team put an end to their goals forms the rest of the plot. A high octane action thriller with plenty of laughs sprinkled along with chartbuster songs, Thuppakki was the Diwali success of 2012 and the biggest blockbuster of the year in Tamil cinema.
