This is an edited version of the feature film Cats (2019). It removes 14 minutes and 26 seconds from the film, or about 14% of its pre-credits running time.

Many of the songs in Cats are structured with redundant or ill-fitting elements. By removing segments with these qualities, the film can be more consistently enjoyed.

Various smaller issues are also corrected. Full edit notes are included in the download. This is Version 2 of this edit, which includes further improvements from Version 1.
