An ivory trader and a white jungle goddess join forces against a hostile tribe. The first dramatic feature filmed in Africa, one
crewman was eaten by a crocodile whilst another was killed by a charging rhino. Other misfortunes that plagued
the production included flash floods, sunstroke, swarming locusts and tse-tse fly and ant attacks.
