Breaking Shells follows two men with developmental disabilities, Art and Steve, as they go on a road trip, making presentations across South Dakota. They want people who receive support from Community Support Providers to know that they have the right to make the decisions that impact their lives. They offer a message of hope and empowerment, and they send a very clear message to the staff who work for them as well.
