Na vele tegenslagen en de dood van Clayton moet ze alleen hun kinderen opvoeden. Dan hertrouwt ze met de schatrijke industrieel Simon, die een kledingwinkeltje voor haar koopt. Zoya werkt zich op tot een succesvolle zakenvrouw en na jaren in Amerika maakt ze zich op voor een emotioneel weerzien met haar vaderland.
