"After releasing her debut EP VanWyck started One Song a Week, an attempt to write and release a new song every week: "I wondered what would happen if I let the songs be boss for a while. Just to let this stream of songs be and share them as they are, raw, unpolished and unproduced. To see if I could get at some sort of truth, or find some answer as to why I write songs."
