In 1943, after he is taken off combat operations for medical reasons, US Air Force Sergeant John Patterson is billeted
in a London home. Set in a context of US-British wartime co-operation, of note is the treatment of a true WWII

of its release, this film was praised for the authenticity of its settings and characterisations.
