About the Author
Sean M. Grady has had a varied career both as a journalist and as a free-lance writer. While attending the University of Southern California, he worked for the entertainment section of the Los Angeles Times as a reporting intern, for California Magazine ?is a research intern, and for the City News Service of Los Angeles—a local news wire—as a general assignment reporter.
Graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in printjournalism in 1988, Grady specialized in business reporting,eventually serving as business editor of the Olympian, a Gannett newspaper in Olympia, Washington. He has written a number of books for Lucent Books, including The Importance ofMarie Curie, Illiteracy, and Plate Tectonics. Grady lives in Sparks, Nevada
