Storyline

Captain Ralls fights Dutch shipping magnate Mayrant Sidneye for the woman he loves, Angelique Desaix, and for a fortune in gold aboard the Red Witch.

Un capitano provoca appositamente il naufragio del suo veliero che trasporta un ghiotto carico d'oro. Perché agisce in questo modo? Egli ha calcolato tutto fin nei minimi dettagli e naturalmente l'intenzione è quella di recuperare il prezioso metallo in un secondo momento, con la calma necessaria. Ma l'armatore ha intuito la frode e lo insegue deciso a smascherarlo..........



Azione serrata, con un cast che funziona. Momenti di kitsch ne hanno fatto un cult per la critica d'oltralpe, e la bizzarria del film conserva in effetti un certo fascino
