Version 1.0.7 is finally here! The biggest addition is the addition of a simple mode that serves as a halfway-point between the regular game and the story mode.

You can choose to play the new difficulty when starting a new game:

It includes a simpler interface, lower enemy stats, and dancing dragons!

Here are the full patch notes, along with details on what the new difficulty mode entails:

Gameplay:

- A new difficulty mode has been added that simplifies the experience while preserving battles and a sense of danger. Difficulty is generally lower in battles and platforming sections. Changes include the following:

- All characters gain additional jump height (the same amount as in "Story" mode).

- Training and specialties are not available in this mode.

- The Power Flow system is still your means of gaining strength.

- The Princess' "Guard" value is always treated as 150%.

- The Princess' Fury effect is removed, and healing is slightly enhanced for attacks with a "Healing" component.

- Rik's thrown attacks are non-elemental.

- Press (Gamepad: Left Trigger / Keyboard: Q) while controlling Tox to cycle through his breath elements. This works in the world and during his Command phase of battle (before choosing a skill). You can also change his element while viewing his Status screen.

- Tox's present breath element is treated as +50 affinity, while the rest are treated as 0.

- Weapon levels are automatically applied as full-strength training buffs.

- "Bonus" training does not exist.

- Enemies will drop very few items and fewer Gildeds, except for bosses.

- Post-game content is not available in this difficulty setting.


- You can now retry boss battles at a lower difficulty level by pressing the (Gamepad: Y/Keyboard: ESC) button on the Retry screen. Note that you will forfeit your Gildeds reward if you do this. This option is not available in post-game battles.

•Slightly boosted the number of frames the Princess' guard stance lasts, overall.

Interface:

- Simplified several interface elements when playing in "Light" or "Story" mode.

- Removed a few redundant elements from the main menu screen.
