The Abandoned wife seeks then revenge by using the word "pleasure" in the charnels sense of the word and discovers ecstasies it had hitherto forgotten.

Tel est le telegramme imprudent adresse par un mari volage a son epouse qu’il abandonne, le jour de leur anniversaire de mariage, pour rejoindre a Londres une jeune et ardente maitresse. L’epouse delaissee en profite aussitot pour decliner le mot "plaisir" dans tous les sens les plus charnels du terme et decouvre des extases qu’elle avait jusque-la meconnues.
