About the game:

Lords of the Fallen is an hack and slash action role-playing game and is often compared with video games like Darksiders and Dark Souls.
Both Lords of the Fallen and Dark Souls have a realistic combat system, but Lords of the Fallen differentiates itself by not punishing the player for making mistakes.
The game is divided into acts and is not an open world RPG like Dark Souls I & II, which means it has more linear areas, though there are several quests during the main acts.
During exploration, the game uses many save points to make sure the player doesn't lose too much progress.
