Cole is a criminal who lived in a post-apocalyptic future. He was convicted for reckless behavior and disobeying authorities. In the late nineties, a virus has destroyed almost the entire human population, and those who managed to survive, took refuge underground. While scientists have invented a technology of time travel, Cole became the “guinea pig” on which this technology decided to try. He must get samples to research the virus from the past and it will get a full excuse for all his bad deeds. The tv show is a remake of cult film “12 monkeys” directed by Terry Gilliam in 90-s.
